Dear Families,
On Friday, November 10th our PVE School Committee had a wonderful tribute to the Veterans in our community. A special thank you to Mrs. Dohoney for reading the names of our veterans. Also, thank you to Mrs. Barrette for the students' four star performance singing the patriotic songs this morning. A huge thank you to Mr. Marino and Mrs. Clapprood for helping our new fifth grade student council members to create their speeches. We also appreciate Miss Moretti, Mr, Rush, and Mr. James who assisted with organizing the technology. It truly was a privilege to be part of this special ceremony.

Eureka Squared
As we implement our new math curriculum, Eureka Squared, we want to ensure families and caregivers are supported in understanding the materials, models, and strategies students will be using.

PVE Offers An After School Math Program
Pleasant View is offering a Kindergarten through Grade 5 Math Camp after school. It will run from the week of November 27th through January 26th. A snack will be provided. The enrollment is on a first come first serve basis. The program will run from 3:20-4:50pm.

Everyday Speech
This month’s focus is on “Topic Surfing.” This unit is designed to aid students in smoothly transitioning between conversation topics. There is a piece in the unit that is essential for building meaningful and fluid relationships.
Parent-Teacher Conference Day
There is no school for students on Wednesday December 13th. Parent-teacher conferences will be held that day from 1:00-7:45pm. Teachers are beginning to send out information regarding appointment time sign-ups for these meetings.

The YMCA
The YMCA is offering a Productive Fidgeting six week session starting November 22nd through December 27th.
