What a unique weather week it’s been! Thank you for your support in getting Chrome books and chargers back to school on Wednesday, January 10th. Also, thank you to those families that reached out concerning transportation changes to our office staff. We appreciate your communications!
Next week is a four-day school week. There is no school on Monday,January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Tardy
We need your help in getting all students to school on or before 8:50 daily so students avoid being marked tardy. Attendance is a nation-wide problem post-Covid. Pre-Covid we had 26 students with perfect attendance. Post-Covid, for the 2022-2023 school year, we had 2 students with perfect attendance.
Just a friendly reminder, the earliest your child may be dropped off is 8:20AM. Only students on Safety Patrol may be dropped off at 8:15AM.
Lexia
Here’s one way that you can support your child’s learning at home. Have your child log into Lexia and work on their individualized lessons. Lexia provides personalized reading lessons at your child’s level. Lexia provides accelerated gains to close gaps in students' learning.
This week 88 students earned an electronic certificate, recognizing completion of another level of Lexia skills practice!
Freckle
Here’s another way you can support your child’s learning at home. Have your child log into their individualized lessons. Similar to Lexia, Freckle provides personalized (differentiated) math lessons at your child’s level.
Toys
Please remind your child that toys should not be brought to school. We are especially seeing this at lunch time with toys being in students' lunchboxes. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Join Our Virtual P.T.O. Meeting
The next P.T.O. meeting will be VIRTUAL on Tuesday, January 16th at 6:30pm. A link will be emailed out on Tuesday.

Fifth Grade Student Council
A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Ross, Mr. Marino, Mrs. Pushee, Mrs. Clapprood, and our Fifth Grade Student Council for a successful Food Drive. Our school received a check this week for $4,500.00 from Alan Shawn Feinstein to support our school.
