Happy Halloween! Today was an exciting day for students at PVES. The top 3 students from each class with the highest donations for Boosterthon had the opportunity or should we say privilege of duct taping Mrs. Dohoney to the wall of the gym today. Thank you Mrs. Dohoney for being such a good SPORT!
Thank you to our PTO Board for supporting this event. Also, thank you to Chris Whitten for providing music for this event.

Everyday Speech
Everyday Speech is our Social Emotional Learning curriculum that is used in all k-5 classrooms at PVES. At lunch next week, a brief video on how to resolve conflicts on the playground will be shown to support students with strategies when a conflict arises.
Forward Your Pictures
We would love to add your Trunk or Treat or Halloween pictures to our in school television. Please forward your pictures to Mrs. Viera at tviera@smithfield-ps.org. Be sure to include your child’s name and grade level. Thank you.
Send In Your Leftover Halloween Candy
Please send in your leftover candy to the office next week. We will fill our staff candy jars and donate any extras to a local nursing home.
