Dear Families,
It’s been a busy and exciting week at Pleasant View Elementary! Thank you to all of the students who participated in the Spelling Bee—we are so proud of your hard work and courage. Congratulations to our school winners: Maxwell Dubeck and Cameron Roy who will represent PVES at the district Spelling Bee on February 6th.
We are also very proud of the students who were selected to participate in NAEP testing this week. They represented our school with focus, effort, and pride. Thank you to our students and staff for another great week of learning!

A Message From Mrs. MJ
My PE classes are beginning an exciting unit called Scooterville! During this unit, students ride on scooter boards as they travel through a pretend community and visit different stations (like a gas station, bank, mechanic, pet shelter and more).
Through movement and play, students:
Learn about community helpers
Practice teamwork and problem-solving
Earn and spend money at each station
Build motor skills while having FUN!
I am looking for donations of your gently used and no longer wanted toys!
To help make Scooterville even more engaging, we are kindly requesting donations of gently used:
Toy cash registers
Toy gas pumps
Toy tools (plastic only, please)
These items will help bring our stations to life and enhance student learning during PE. They can be sent to Mrs. MJ.
Valentine’s Day Treat Sale!

Orders must be placed by Wednesday February 4th and will be available for pickup on Thursday February 12th or Friday February 13th, from 3:30pm - 5:30pm at PVES (Door #4).

Friday, February 6th-District Spelling Bee at LaPerche. -It’s the 100th Day of School! Dress like you are 100 YEARS old. For safety, please do not use slippers, walkers, or canes.
