RIDE works in partnership with schools across the state to ensure that students and families have a meaningful voice in Rhode Island’s education system. Since 2017, every year, all students in grades 3–12 and their families, as well as every educator and administrator in Rhode Island public schools, have had the opportunity to provide anonymous feedback and data directly to RIDE.
SurveyWorks asks students and educators about their learning and teaching experiences in school, as well as questions about the support they need to be successful.
“Through SurveyWorks, Rhode Island students, educators, and families have the opportunity to provide their own school communities firsthand insight into what is working, what feels challenging, and where more support is needed,” said Commissioner Angélica Infante-Green. “When educators and leaders actively listen to student voices, we gain a clearer understanding of classroom climate, engagement, and belonging, and are better positioned to make informed, responsive decisions on behalf of students.”
Below is the link for families to complete the survey.

Y MCA DISMISSAL
The YMCA dismissal begins at 3:45pm at Door 4; Pleasant View is still managing bus dismissal before that time and it is too hectic to combine the two dismissals.
At 3:45pm a YMCA Staff member will be at Door 4 to assist with their dismissals. If a parent arrives before then to pick up a child from the Y program, they will need to wait and not approach door 4 until 3:45pm.
Weekly Kindness Shout Outs
Here are some of the students who were "Caught Being Kind"
