Dear Families,
Yesterday was an exciting day at PVES as we celebrated our 4th Annual Pumpkin Palooza in the courtyard! A huge thank-you to Mrs. MJ and our Unified Committee for organizing such a wonderful event. We were delighted to welcome our friends from SHS Unified to join us for the festivities and enjoy lunch on us! Events like these remind us of the importance of inclusion, friendship, and belonging in our school community. Please enjoy the video from this special day! Thank you again, Mrs. MJ, for making this event such a success, as well as all of our families and classes who decorated pumpkins! 🎃🐼

Families are welcome to send in any leftover Halloween candy to the office! We would love to use it to refill our staff candy jar. Our staff appreciates your generosity!
On another note, we kindly discourage families from packing Halloween candy in their child’s lunchbox.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and support!
Hi-FIVE Fridays Are HERE At PVES! 👋
We are excited to share that the Girl’s Soccer Team was at PVES for Hi-FIVE Fridays!! On Fridays the SHS students arrive just before school begins to welcome our students as they arrive at Door 1 and Door 4. This is building the sense of belonging and community here at PVES! Below are some pictures from today.
ctober is Fire Safety Month, and we welcomed our local fire department to PVES for special fire safety assemblies with our students. We appreciate their time and all that they do to keep our community safe.

Join Our Team!
As we begin the new year, we are seeing an increased need for substitute teachers and paraprofessionals at Pleasant View Elementary School. Unfortunately, our substitute pool has decreased for a variety of reasons, and we are hoping to connect with individuals who may be interested in helping support our school.
If you are interested in exploring either of these opportunities, please feel free to reach out to arrange a time to volunteer and shadow a substitute teacher or paraprofessional. This would provide an opportunity to learn more about the role and experience what a typical day looks like at PVES.
